Warrior East Recap & New Odin Images

Coming back from a great event at ADS Warrior East, we wanted to showcase some new photos of Odin, our rugged see through HMD (head mount display) that creates augmented reality for the User.

At Warrior East, we were lucky enough to be featured in a video highlighting the Halo Rx system, which is an integrated mobile hospital patient monitoring technology.  This system is the product of a joint effort from ADS partners Six15, Atlantic Signal, Philips, London Bridge Trading, and Protonx.  The system helps solve challenges tha tmedical operators face in the remote and austere evironments.  Here Brad Stewart, from ADS, speaks about the capabilities of Halo Rx.

Tactical Ginger Giveaway

We wanted to take the time to give a quick shout out to ADS, Inc. and tell you about Tactical Ginger.  ADS will be hosting a giveaway contest at Warrior Expo East.  In order to enter this giveaway attendees will need to find the life-size-cutout of Tactical Ginger, which will be stationed near the ADS booth, and take a picture with her.  This photo then needs to be shared on social media with the hash tag #TacticalGinger in order to be eligible to win a prize pack full of gear from various ADS suppliers. 

ADS Warrior Expo East

Our next tradeshow appearance will be at the ADS Warrior Expo East, which will be held in Virginia Beach from July 10th the 11th at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.  This event will feature leading companies in the government and defense industry.  We are very proud of our partnership with ADS and are excited for yet another one of their great events.  Look for us in Booth #408 and be sure to demo our new Odin display.

Six15 Featured on Soldier Systems!

May was an exciting month here at Six15 and it was closed out by yet another great SOFIC event.  We were able to showcase our two newest products Odin, our see through head mount display, and our Tactical Battlefield Computer.  Upon returning back to Rochester, we were pleased that our friends at Soldier Systems were kind enough to feature us on their blog.

Six15 Focuses on Delivery of Actionable Intelligence

This month Six15 Technologies released Odin, the newest product to join their innovative lineup of head mount displays.  Odin, a revolutionary see through head mount display empowers the user by enabling augmented reality, allowing for live interaction with data such as symbols, maps, and alerts that overlay the real world.  The capabilities of this new display demonstrate Six15’s continued commitment to delivering actionable intelligence to their users.

 This commitment involves ensuring that the proper information is delivered to the correct user, at the optimal moment.  This shared information is crucial because it creates a network where users have a high level of shared situational awareness, thus allowing the user to make better informed decisions and operate at their highest potential.

However, Odin is not the first Six15 display to focus on delivering actionable intelligence.  All of Six15’s head mount displays, most notably the Tac-Eye 2.0, have been born from a need for immediate delivery of mission critical information while allowing the user to remain “head up.”  However, Odin takes these capabilities to a whole new level with its see through capability, thus allowing for the creation of augmented reality with endless applications.  These applications have the potential to expand far beyond military uses and it is only a matter of time until this see through technology becomes the norm in other fields such as telemedicine and warehousing logistics.
